Welcome to Jackal Adventures! We want to ensure your safari experience with us is unforgettable. Please carefully review the following Terms and Conditions that apply to your booking and travel agreement with Jackal Adventures.

Contracting Parties

These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the traveler(s) and Jackal Adventures.

Booking Procedures and Payments

• Bookings are accepted at any time, with priority given to inquiries responded to within 24 hours.
• To secure the best price and accommodations, it’s advised to inquire at least 90 days prior to your safari.
• Private campsite accommodations require booking 120 days in advance, while budget camping safaris should be booked at least 45 days in advance.
• A binding contract is established when:
  • 30% of the quoted price is received to confirm your booking.
  • Full payment is made 31 days prior to the safari start date.
• Failure to make full payment may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellation must be made in writing to Jackal Adventures.
• Refunds are subject to the following cancellation charges:
  • 61 days before departure: 25% of the package price is non-refundable.
  • 60 to 31 days before departure: 50% of the package price is non-refundable.
  • 30 days or less before departure: 100% of the package price is non-refundable.
• You may also be responsible for any fees imposed by hotels, airlines, etc., due to the cancellation of your original bookings.
• No partial refunds will be given for unused services.

Amendment Policy

• Amendments can be made to your itinerary provided they are requested in writing and in a timely manner.
• Any changes in the package that incur extra costs will be charged accordingly.

Your Responsibility

• It is your responsibility to ensure you have all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and vaccination certificates.
• Consult your physician or travel health specialist for vaccination requirements and medical advice before departure.

Price Changes

• Package prices are subject to change based on park fees or government taxes.

Insurance

• Jackal Adventures encourages clients to have adequate travel and medical insurance.

Photography

• Jackal Adventures reserves the right to use photographs/videos taken during the trip for marketing purposes.

Luggage

• All luggage and personal effects are the client’s responsibility.
• Clients are allowed one bag not exceeding 33lbs/15 kg.

Problems

• If you encounter any issues during your holiday, please inform your safari guide or Jackal Adventures headquarters in Arusha for resolution.

The Law

• These Terms and Conditions, along with all correspondences, constitute your contract with Jackal Adventures, governed by Tanzania law.

Risk

• Jackal Adventures is not responsible for injuries if safety instructions are not followed.
• There are inherent risks in safaris and strenuous activities.
• Jackal Adventures is not liable for illness, injury, or loss while lodging.
