Lake Manyara is a compact park with a surprising mix of groundwater forest, open plains, lake shore, and escarpment views.

Manyara is well suited for the first or last day of a northern circuit safari. Baboons, elephants, giraffes, hippos, flamingos, and rich birdlife make the park feel lively from the first drive.
