Saadani National Park
Saadani is unusual because it combines wildlife, coastal forest, river scenery, and Indian Ocean beach in one park.
It is not as wildlife-dense as Serengeti or Ngorongoro, but its appeal is the mix: game drives, boat trips, birds, and beach atmosphere.
Saadani works best for travellers already moving through Dar es Salaam, Bagamoyo, Pangani, or Zanzibar routes.
