Your safari starts from Arusha, a bustling town located on the green slope of Mt. Meru. The trip/will take you East along winding dirt trails away from the lush area surrounding the mountain and out into the savannah scenery of the Maasai plains and Majestic Kilimanjaro on the windward (western side) of it and in between Mount Meru.
You will ride towards the wall of the Great Rift Valley at the base of which stands the mighty volcano Ol Donyo Lengai. After exploring this area of awesome, desolate beauty you will ride back to ‘Civilisation’ at the Maasai trading post of Longido. Last day you will leave bikes behind and jump on Safari Jeep to go on the endle s plain of the Serengeti through Eastern corridor.
Ol Donyo Lengai where we will spend two nights is an active volcano which last erupted in the 1960’s. It is revered by the Maasai as the home of ‘Ngai’, their god. It’s almost perfect cone looms over an area of astonishing barren beauty. At the foot of the mountain there is an area of rocky desert. Here we find the cones of small extinct volcano, and Lake Natron, a huge soda lake, which stretches up to the Kenyan border. Flamingos come here to breed and in the late afternoon sun the colourful flamingo colonies make a spectacular sight, adding a dash of colour against the shimmering water.
Early morning we depart Arusha and the ride starts on bit of tarmac road, we going to take some trails near mount Meru. Mid-morning we going to have break near Mererani township. The roads are mix of all terrain and some parts are challenging. Arriving at hot spring will be for a swim and lunch as well. After 1.5hr break we going to ride to West Kilimanjaro. The night will be spent at Simba Farm Lodge in West Kilimanjaro on full board basis.
After heavy breakfast we will start ride toward the west of the Maasai Lodge to the Longido Mountain. The trail can be chosen in the morning whether mix of dirty road and tar or full dirty roads. It an easy ride as we won’t do technical loops at all, and by smoko time we will be at small town of Longido for a break and coffee. We will ride to Kitumbeine Mountain for a proper lunch stop where our chef will be there preparing a hot lunch before our arrival. Soon after 1.5hrs of lunch we will ride to Lake Natron for 3 hours on a dusty roads and on the way we will stop for photographs and site seeing. This trail has a lot to see on Nature, Cultural and Wild animals. The night will be spent at Natron River Camp
Natron River Camp
After a night under the incomparable star-filled African sky you will wake up refreshed. First enjoy a hearty breakfast, then we set off to explore the gorge that houses our campsite. A trail leads over boulders, and through narrow chasms. In some places we cross the torrent, and scramble up rocky walls. In some spots we find strange cactuses clinging to the hot rock, in others we see lush ferns and palms in the damp shady gorge bottom. We duck under waterfalls and pass bubbling Jacuzzi-like pools and chutes where the brave can ride the natural water slide. Eventually we arrive at the head of the valley, a huge natural amphitheatre cut into the imposing cliff. Here we find the source of the waters where many springs gush from the cliff walls and form pools and streams. We can play in the pools, shower in the waterfalls and enjoy our packed lunch. We can also have chance to ride to the hot springs, foot prints and around the Lake shores for closer view of the flamingos.
Natron River Camp

After breakfast, depart to central Serengeti National Park, the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
Four season Hotel
After an early breakfast, You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its a dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon transfer to KARATU For dinner and Overnight.
The Manor Lodge
